I have dabbled with Triathlons and have decided that for now I am going to concentrate on running and Open Water Swimming! I am very lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places in the UK and to have Lake Windermere as my local playground!

Week 1 survived!
Last night I was out celebrating a friends Birthday so when I woke up this morning I really wasn't feeling the need to run but in order to stay on track with my plan I HAD to get out there! So as soon as I got up, before I had time to wallow around and contemplate not going I got dressed in my running gear and hit the trails sporting a bad head! I had a kill or cure attitude!
It was another very, very, very windy one but once I got going I really enjoyed it! I managed 6.3 miles and yet again I was incredibly lucky! No sooner had I got back through the door when the heavens opened and we have had torrential rain ever since! The run didn't cure my bad head, thankfully it didn't kill me either although it had a good try!

Week 1 of my Tri Training Plan is complete and I have smashed week 1 of Jantastic too - I have reached my goal of 2 runs, 2 swim and 2 rides for the week.
My 2 runs were 4.09 miles and 6.30 miles.
My 2 swims were 0.99 mile and 0.68 mile.
My 2 rides were 7.31 miles and 25.71 miles.
Altogether a total of 45.08 miles!
Not a bad start! Quite pleased with that!
