Day 21 - Janathon!

Image result for swimming motivation quotesTonight I went swimming - again!  I normally wouldn't go swimming 2 nights in a row in order to give my arms a rest, but I won't be able to go tomorrow night as my Daughter is coming home for the weekend and I need to collect her from the station, right in the middle of the public swim hour!  It will be easier to squeeze a short run in tomorrow, so for this week only I swapped my days around!

Before I went swimming I had an appointment with my Physio just for a general MOT.  I am pleased to say apart from having a tight Achilles everything else is fine!  I really must work on stretching more!

Immediately after I went to the pool and decided to see how far I could swim in an hour - since that is how long the pool was open to the public! I might as well get my money's worth!

I started off in the "slow" lane but it was full of breast-strokers so I decided to take my chances in the "fast" lane!

I must say I thought I held my own pretty well considering it was full of men with super-ego's trying to prove something!

I swam for 59 minutes 57 seconds and did 2450 Metres in total which is 1.52 miles.

Total Janathan Walking miles:   18.81
Total Janathan Cycling miles:      Zero 
Total Janathon Swimming miles:   6.56

TOTAL JANATHON MILEAGE: 88.38

Positive thought for the day: No man is going to intimidate me!
