Feeling G-R-E-A-T!

This is the first time in a long time that I have done so little running as I am now trying to spread myself equally over the 3 triathlon disciplines - swimming, cycling AND running! I am currently doing two sessions of each every week.

I thought I would miss my runs but to be totally honest I am really, really enjoying the change! I am also enjoying the challenge of improving my cycling and swimming! I definitely think mixing my training up has benefited my body - I don't ache in the morning nearly as much as I did when I was running most days! Part of me worries that I am losing fitness but I MUST trust in the plan and believe in myself!

Tonight was Tri Club swimming night which I really enjoyed.  I swam 1350 metres including some timed distances.

I swam 400 metres in 8:35 and 200 metres in 4:14 which I am very pleased with.

14 weeks until my first Triathlon of the year - enough time to get faster!
